Subscriptions bought in the iOS app are billed through your Apple ID and renew automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID settings.

How AI credit works

  • Plus includes AI every month, about 60 recipe imports’ worth. It starts fresh on the 1st of each month, doesn’t carry over, and is always used first. In a household, everyone shares the owner’s allowance.
  • A new account gets a small taste of AI to try it, on any plan.
  • After that, buy credit in packs of $1 or $5, on any plan. Credit you buy never expires.
  • You can set your own spend limit for each period, so a long import session can’t run away with your balance.

  • Reading a recipe from a photo, a PDF, or a web page without recipe markup
  • Dictating a recipe, and ingredient suggestions as you type
  • Snap an ingredient, and receipt scanning
  • Planning a week automatically
  • Nutrition estimates per serving, when you ask for one
  • New pictures for recipes you import, drawn now or when you first open them, as you choose

What is free

  • Importing a recipe export file, and any web page that publishes its recipe in a standard format
