Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of RoloMeal, a meal planning and grocery service operated by owns, llc ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). RoloMeal includes the iOS application, the rolomeal.com website, and the related APIs and services (together, the "Services").

By creating an account or using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

RoloMeal helps you plan meals and shop for them. That includes:

• Storing meals, recipes, ingredients and your weekly plan
• Building shopping lists and assigning items to the stores you save
• Tracking what you keep on hand in your pantry
• Importing recipes from a URL, a photo, or a PDF
• Scanning grocery receipts
• Sharing a plan and a list with the other people in your household
• Optional audio narration of recipe steps

We may add, change or remove features at any time. We aim to give notice of material changes, but the Services are under active development.

You need an account to use most of the Services. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current and complete information when you register
• Keep your account information up to date
• Keep your credentials, passkeys and devices secure
• Accept responsibility for everything that happens under your account
• Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.

RoloMeal is free to use with limits. Paid plans and credit packs are sold as in-app purchases through the Apple App Store:

• RoloMeal Plus, offered as an auto-renewing monthly or annual subscription. Plus includes an allowance of AI use each calendar month, which renews on the first of the month and does not carry over
• Consumable AI credit packs, which do not renew. Credit you buy does not expire, and is used after any monthly allowance

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before it ends. Your Apple ID is charged at confirmation of purchase and again on each renewal. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by region.

Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings, not in RoloMeal. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Where a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you buy a subscription.

Purchases are processed by Apple under Apple's terms. Refunds are handled by Apple, and we cannot issue them directly. Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and are not refundable except where required by law.

RoloMeal uses automated systems, including third-party AI providers, to read recipes from URLs, photos and PDFs, to parse receipts, to suggest ingredients and categories, and to generate narration. These systems make mistakes.

RoloMeal does not provide nutritional, dietary, health or medical advice. Nutrition figures, cost estimates, allergen information, ingredient lists and extracted recipe steps are estimates produced automatically and may be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Do not rely on them for any decision affecting health or safety. Always check the product packaging itself, and consult a qualified professional about allergies, medical conditions or dietary needs.

You are responsible for checking anything RoloMeal extracts or suggests before you act on it, including when cooking for someone with an allergy.

You keep ownership of the meals, recipes, notes, photos and other content you put into RoloMeal. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display that content for the purpose of operating the Services for you and for the household members you share it with. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to the retention period in our Privacy Policy.

Do not upload content you do not have the right to upload. Recipes you import from third parties remain subject to the rights of whoever published them, and RoloMeal's import features are for your personal use.

You agree not to use the Services to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Engage in fraudulent, false or misleading activity
• Transmit viruses, malware or other malicious code
• Harass, threaten or intimidate any person
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, account or network
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
• Scrape, resell or redistribute the Services or their content
• Interfere with or place unreasonable load on the Services

RoloMeal connects to services we do not control, including the Apple App Store, grocery and delivery partners, map and geocoding providers, and AI providers. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices, or for prices and availability shown by a retailer.

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill. The total liability of the Company shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim or one hundred dollars ($100 USD).

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Company and its affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities and expenses arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. On termination your right to use the Services ends immediately; the data handling described in our Privacy Policy continues to apply.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to participate in class actions or jury trials.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms here and updating the date above. Continuing to use the Services after the changes take effect means you accept them.
